Why the name calling? I believe you are mistaken in your use of the term feckless liberal. Liberal, yes...feckless, no.

I know you served in war long ago; thank you for your service and the sacrifices made by you and your loved ones. I am a non-commissioned officer with 14 years service in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve. I also have served in war, and serve currently (on a peacekeeping 'vacation' before going back to the sandbox). I know which end of my weapons the bullets comes out of, and why a claymore says "front toward enemy". I don't wish to get into a my war vs. your war or a body count contest or DD214 shootout to determine who is the better American here. All war sucks for the joes fighting them.

Ms. Sheehan is upholding a proud american tradition of calling "B.S." when she smells it. Good for her, I wish her the best of luck and thank her for her service and sacrifice as well.

Cheers.

Wow well said. We here at MO aren't used to folks that have actually fought in a war. We usually get the folks like W and Cheney who didn't...but want you and your kids to fight i.e. chicken hawks...

Default Good point sarnali..Casinos in Havana.

One of my old business professors said we should fight communism with Sears catalogs. i.e. Parachute Sears catalogs so folks who see what things they were missing. i.e. create greed.. Someday I think you will be right i.e. there will be Casinos in Havana.. I really enjoyed the Cuban folks I met when I lived in South Florida.. Smart hard working and they knew how to throw a party.

With Harley parts available world-wide, I find it hard to believe some company hasn't found a way to ship parts to Cuba. Of course, with only 100 bikes, that market can't be too lucrative. I'd imagine the mark-up could be a tad much. It sure isn't hard to find a Cuban cigar here.

Sorry, but Sheehan emptied my tolerance bottle when she sucked up to Castro, a far worse dictator and murderer than the GWB she hates so much. How many mothers like Sheehan are languishing in Cuban prisons for speaking out against Castro? She's not just protesting bad US policy. She's supporting one of the more notorious dictators of history. A conservative estimate gives Castro a body count of around 100,000 of his fellow Cubans. What's up with that? She expects to be taken seriously? Not by me.
