Oh, yeah. Plenty of good handling bikes with more humane ergonomics are out there. Some are made by Ducati.

Agreed, "tanking" is probably not the best description, leveling off is more accurate. The days of buying a bike riding a few thousand miles and selling for more than you paid are gone though IMO.



Harley's not going to be closing up shop anytime soon that's for sure. I think the RUB's investment potential is fading fast though

I started work at 6 today.. OK.. I have to go back at it now till 7.. My wife complains I don't put down all my hours..

40s not old at all any more. Look at Roger Clemens. Look at about half the golfers on the pro tour. Look at some of the 40- something babes at your local workout place. Theyre smokin!

Sounds like Harley's tripling of their output is causing the decline in resale value, meaning that profit is being transferred from the sellers of the old bikes to the manufacturer of the new ones.



Apparently they didn't cover the "supply" part of 'supply and demand" in kpaul's Econ 101 class.
