You are absolutely right

point taken I should of said less the end zones..

I was also the Air Recon officier for our BLM district. So when I estimated a fire size I always used the mental picture of football field i.e. between the goal line. That plus the USGS quad maps were used to make an estimate. I got real good at reading maps while turning in circles (fixed wing aircraft, Cessna 182s, and 210s..)

Close enough for government work.

43,560 square feet (acre) vs 47,970 (football field less the end zones.

Re: Trade you straight across...

While we\'re telling stories, I took my bike to Fairfield Honda to have a Progressive shock and extra loud twin horns installed. When I picked it up, the instructions for adjusting the suspension was missing. After a bit of a search, they found it, in the box with my old shock, and one of the horns. I asked what gives, and they told me the mechanic "didn\'t think I needed two."

Re: Exception vs. Rule

Aw c\'mon you pansy. Everyone knows how much safer it is for big city fireman to run in and out of burning buildings. You city firemen live the cushy life.

You should know better than to argue with the Greatest Genius in the History of the World.

Send your heroic self my way

My house is covered in smoke at the moment.

That thing is 100 miles away and the smoke has managed to blanket the coast.

The sky has a nice orange glow though!

mscuddy... if you continue to have trouble with the dealer go to the buell BBS at:

write up a polite, complete and accurate account and post a request for help.

A guy named Court Canfield will usually respond & when he gets involved things happen

Re: Exception vs. Rule

How many people have you dragged out of burning buildings, hero?

Now you are down the incredibly degraded level where you have to freaking insult city fire crews to puff yourself up. What a class A jerk.
