Did you see those flame hitting his trunk. Might want to check for burnt spots - might be a good idea to stay away from that fringe.

Those kits for cars only work on older non catalytic converter carbureted models. The rich mixture necessary for this trick would ruin your converter. Even on cars that can use this device there is a danger of the overly rich mixture washing the oil off of the cylinder walls and wrecking the engine.

The problem is that you can´t wear fringed chaps with this flame thingie. Chaps, as we know, would be a$$less.

I think they put a spark plug in the end of the muffler connected to a coil/battery and push button switch on the handlebar. Gas is injected up stream of the plug from a compressed bottle and it mixes with air at the outlet of the pipe.

Oxygen/propane wouldn't burn a nice soft flame like in the picture it would detonate and send exhaust pipe shrapnel everywhere.
