I couldn't find my tinoil hat this morning. Turns out the old lady used it to cover some leftover Chinese food and now it's got Peking Duck all over it.

Damn.

Wow, way to toe the party line.

Liberal isn't anymore openminded than conservitive.

Liberals are just closeminded about completely different topics. Neither want a real debate. Both sides just shout their prepackaged sound bites.

LOL ... but it's GOOD beer. We use the US stuff to shampoo the hair on our sled dogs.

If you use that sweet, red sauce that turns into gelatin overnight, it is an excellent sealer to more or less permanently mount the tinfoil hat.

Sure, but the Jap bikes are great quality. Maybe someday China's will be too, but there's NO hope for Harleys. 1450cc, and 62 rear wheel horsepower? My lawnmower can outrun a Harley. ;o)

"Liberal isn't anymore openminded than conservitive."

www.dictionary.com

"Liberals are just closeminded about completely different topics."

I agree that some people who call themselves liberal are pretty closed minded, but that just illustrates the big difference between saying and doing. Both parties have a problem wih this because it is a human problem. Our words say what we aim to be, while our actions often fall short.

For example, Dubya says he's a fiscal conservative who advocates small government ... but spends like a drunken sailor and has one of the largest governments in US history. He's obviously not a fiscal conservative no matter what he likes to call himself.

"How much is that debt, Bigdx? How much is that deficit every year?"

Remind me what that has to do with you? I keep on forgetting

"Last I checked, Canada had a balanced budget and has been that way for half a decade."

Remind me why I give a f*ck what Canada does?

While I wonÂ’t call Canada Americas *******, (that is reserved for another neighbor) I think armpit is a good description. The "left" armpit mind.

"Internationally, Canada is respected and is considered by the UN to be one of the better, if not the best, country in which to live."

LOL – the UN? Oh, you mean the guys that took bribes from Saddam in the oil-for-food scandal? Yeah, I guess they would think Canada is a good place to live …

What part of raising taxes is "open minded"?
