I'll go out on a limb and say I bet more Harley bike components are made in China than the Jap bikes.

Also check the tags on your leather jacket, gloves, boots etc. even the ones with Red, White, And Blue on them. Hmm....What was that about not buying China products???

The best defense is a good offense dude. How do you plan on winning the game if you refuse to play against the other team. It amazes me that you have such little faith in American ingenuity that you feel we have to take a defensive position and cower and hide or refuse to play. I prefer, as an American, to do what we have always done and engineer our way into our future. Enough said.

Or, all of those world beating go anywhere do anything run forever choppers that we produce.

Maybe you're talking about the German designed engine in the V-rod and Street-rod?

I'm talking about America as an engineering powerhouse in general. He made the comment "...don't buy Chinese products.", not, "...don't buy Chinese motorcycles".

We generate new ideas and technologies day after day and get them to market fast. If we keep doing that as a country, I have no concerns about China or any other nation.
