Politics is life. It is about who gets to control things, including things like what emission standards bikes have ot meet or whether you have to buy a helmet or what traffic laws you have to follow. Politics is in literally every aspect of your life, including motorcycling.

I think that sometimes this is very missed. The biggest benefit of living in the US is that anyone can become an owner via the stock market. If everyone did so, companies would be run a lot differently than they currently are because their employees and customers would hold shares and have a say.
I read yesterday that over 85% of the wealth generated by the stock market goes to less than 1% of the population. That, to me, is a crying shame when anyone can tap into that wealth generation. |
