sorry but I was at Rutt's hut last tuesday in clifton N.J. and there were TWO Thruxtons there. must have sucked for both of them.. thinking they were gonna stand alone!

I'm with ya on the chrome thing. My blingometer reads nearly zero.
The problem with the disc wheels is that they're heavy and they really do act like sails. Ride that thing in a decent crosswind. It sucks. |

CVTsBelt drives are the best thing since sliced bread for commuting. It may not be as "cool" but just try riding a Honda Silverwing or Suzuki Burgman in heavy traffic some day.

If I'm not mistaken, I think Buell is responsible for those and they tripped over that idea during the devolopment of the XB12X. there was an article in CW about the new XB12X i just dont remember how did that go exactly, but pretty sure Eric is behind the easier clutch pull (I didint know it needed improvement) and tranny update.
