Thanks for the link. The sales numbers are impresive, and proof that a US of A sportbike can be sold, even with the all destroying evil big four ready to smash them.

But I find it telling that HD still choses to not mention Buells numbers in the press release. It gives me the feeling that the HD management still looks at Buell as the red headed stepchild of the company.

You put your deposit down on the triumph yet?

Yes! We must protect our precious resources from foreign enemies. Our meadow muffins are critical to National Security!

You forgot the Mighty BLAZE of Nippondenso headlights burning through the fog of Patriotism as the mighty Showa forks soak up the potholes of the mighty Interstate! The Stout and doughty Road Warrior's heinie caressed by Mexican naugahide.

Seeing this kind of sillyness always brings to mind H L Mencken's most famous quote "The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary." BTW I believe it was the GRAND Duchy of Fenwick. VWW

I'm waiting to see the new S3 at the Cycle World show coming in a couple weeks here. I have a dealer nearby, so if I am impressed, I may take the plunge and be a Triumph owner again. Then Sarnali will let me ride with him.

Wait - don't you guys have an exemption from catastrophe already. The way I hear it, god him/her/itself personally spared the temple from the tornado a few summers ago.
