Twas a joke, aimed at the detractors of anything Harley or about Harley. Sorry if you didn't get it.

I appreciate that. But, I got these electrodes stuck to my head, that go-off when I don't think happy thoughts, so you're REALLY not helping.

Thanks, anyway!

I am pretty sure that if you sent a letter to HD as articulate as the message you posted above you could accomplish what you want for you self and your fellow service members.

Best of luck to you and thanks for your service to our country.

This is the second year in a row they've made this offer. Having spent three tours over in the middle east already and prepping for my fourth I can truely appreciate the gesture...marketing or not. Unfortuantely, being a die hard Triumph Speed Triple owner, it isn't enough to bait me into swapping my S3 for a Buell and Triumph isn't extending the same offer....(Triumph/John Bloor, can you hear me???).

Good work HD/Buell.

The problem, grasshopper, with black humor, sarcasm, tounge-in-cheeck deprecation and the like is that not everyone gets it. We know u'r kewl though.

At least they don't do it for $137 per month plus $65 combat pay.

Who knows whether it was smarts or heart that most drove the decision to extend the warranties. But i have to think there is some heart in there no matter what.

It was nice gesture toward some deserving people.
