That's only if you compare it to a sportbike engine. If you compare it to any of the big-inch cruiser motors out there, the low-end torque sucks.
And yes, I have ridden one.

Id rather have a Vmax....ever heard a supercharged vmax at full tilt? it sounds like it runs off of small children!
its a beast. the vmax stock, is a beast. although the Vrod is a nice bike, its like a bodybuilder.....whereas a vmax is a UFC fighter. one is built with show in mind, although can perform, while the other one is balls out lunacy.

Well, there you go, now you've got Sean all mad at us, You should go demo one Kpaul, I think you'd be impressed, or at least surprised, as you know I lean towards sportbikes myself but I was impressed by how well this one works. within it's design parameters.

Good advice. I'll do that. I just wanted to see if Sean was awake.

Good to hear that the Harley demand is still strong in the MidWest. Out here on the Left Coast (Seattle) we tend to get a warped view of things. Sometimes I think I should go back to my relatives back in Kansas every year back on grandpas homestead just to get a taste of reality i.e real America. So far the money I spent on Harley stock is the best thing I have done finacially in the past 4 years.

I don't think that the ZRX and Bandit are Hooligan bikes. I would say an aggressive standard (or just standard) with a lot of cc's. I wouldn't choose either of these bikes for stoppies etc.

He's not hitting the bong too hard... it'll run a mid to low 12.
