HOG is trading at around $15 a share. It's a company that is very conservative and well-positioned for a short economic downturn.
I consulted schwab.com and other analysts and of course the ratings are all over the map. Buy, Hold, Avoid. Thanks analysts! What do you MoFos think?

Long-term I'd say buy. Short-term they may go down to $12-$13, but I'd doubt it. So, Shorts should hold off of strike and go methods. As long as they can sell Clothes and Accessories and adjust motorcycle production down well ahead of quarterly meetings there will be no big suprises.

Hey gas is 2 bucks a gallon these days. Where are those evil oil companies when you need them?

GM is a great buy at this point. They've got a new Hummer coming out that is going to be selling like ice cream cones in Hell!

I'd buy a hog but my mother-in-law has got that area covered. Badda-boom.

I think this:
Heh heh. Buz is so dumb that he's soliciting MOrons for investment advice. I say this: Great idea Buz. Send me a check for $100,000 and I will get you HD stock at a special double secret discount. Don't delay. Send it today.

If you are going long, bet on GM. I doubt they will go under and then the feds will bail them and the comeback will begin. Think Chrysler back in the 80's. At 3 bucks a share you can't go wrong.

Hell, Ford is 2 bucks a share. Ford of Europe is strong and Ford will always make trucks. GM's long term obligations scare me.

You can go wrong this time. "Bailing" GM will only delay the inevitable. The only thing that can save them is bankruptcy and re-organization. As long as they have their current UAW contract and other organic problems no amount of free money can stop their demise. Did you know that GM is forbidden by law in many states from closing dealerships? That's just one of a host of amazingly difficult problems that GM faces. If the govt takes over to "save" them that will only make it impossible for even bankruptcy and reorganization to save GM.
