You can also get a video called: "Joey Dunlop 1952- 2000". It's a tribute to his live and career. You can check it out here: http://www.amazon.com |

How do you know that Slashdot isn't run entirely by hot Asian ****s that just happen to promote open source? Maybe CmdrTaco, Cowboy Neal, and Jon Katz are on to a good thing over there.

Greetings,
Thanks so much for letting everyone out here know about the Joey Dunlop Stamps. I'll be ordering a set later today. Could anyone out there please let me know where I can get the V4 Victory video/dvd?? I checked out a couple of places but came up short. Thanks in advance... JoBu |

To all,
This is the description of "V4 Victory" as posted by whitehorse.com: This video should be in every racer's collection for one reason: few racers ever make it to the track at the Isle of Man, but this video gives you the racer's view. In 1983, for the first time ever, a high quality video camera mounted to Joey Dunlop's gas tank on his winning 750cc V4 Honda captured some incredible footage of what it's like to race this famous course. It's an awesome view. You'll find yourself clutching at the arms of your chair as he hurtles along the course, coming dangerously close to scraping his helmet against a wall as he's cornering on narrow streets. And at 180 mph on back roads, the white lines become solid, and trees become a blur of green. In the interview with Joey after his winning race, he modestly explains that "it's not so bad really." All this, and it also features highlights of the 1983 Ulster GP race, where Joey clinched the Formula One World Championship. You'll want to watch it again and again! |
