I don't really see why people fawn all over her (including every single one of the wait-staff).

Well, stick a billion dollars in your bank account and see what happens.....

Everyone who uses Biodiesel has one of those little self-important bumper stickers advertising it, and the self-important gas station they get it from, as if they're doing anyone any favors.

The popular gas station in town buys its diesel from a small company that makes it itself from fast food grease. Truly scalable. Eat more fries, save the world.

People in some third world nations are already unhappy about the corn prices. Didn't Mexico order a price freeze? Good way to ensure no one gets any at all.

But the Granola People get to feel good about themselves and that's all that's important. You know, like that feeling of warmth the hippies got when they bought copies of Harrison's Concert for Bangladesh.

Ha! I love that Gordon Michael Scallion guy. He sounds suspiciously like a certain other worthless prophet from Seattle.
