Simply the looks department. Ducati gets a lot of grief for the 999 and rightfully so. But the vast majority of what they turn out is about as much fun to look at as it is to ride. KTM certainly has the "go" part down but their designers must have had their eyes snatched out at birth.

Fair enough, just curious to see which one would be the bigger maintanence ho... Ducati may have the edge (as in less expensive to maintain, yeah crazy thought), we'll just have to see.

As far as looks go, I like the Duc Multistrada about 400 percent better.
