You've obviously never watched the NASCRAP "IRAQ-Series" races, have you?

20 Identically-prepped Humvees, with a Cobra Viper Gun Turret mounted on each.

The best Marine, Al Q'aida, PLO, and Pelosi-led-Democrat Drivers battle it out at the world-famous "Streets of Baghdad" Motor Circuit. It's Man vs. Infidel, in a "Bombin' is Racin' ", Winner blows-up all, Battle to the Finish.

Second-place is just the First Loser.

Ah, yes. American Ingenuity at its Finest.

I love the smell of Cordite in the Morning........

Over an HOUR on an OBVIOUS Stinkbait-Troll, and no bites yet?

This pond must be all "fished out".

Default Just to set the record straight. Twins are ok.

I think there should be a class of racing called unlimited where anything goes. You want a 1300 CC Haybusa based bike go for it. You want a 1400 V-Twin so be it. Turbocharged you bet... But then have to make the other classes equal. You could also have an IROC based series of identical bikes. My beef with racing V-Twins is that Ducati has always gotten the breaks in WSBK to the determent of the Japanese manufacturers. Of course Honda's RC51 was superior for a couple of years to Ducati. Before the 1000 cc fours were let in WSBK, the series had become the Ducati Cup. So I think CC is the only other way to level the playing field. The highest horsepower bike doesn't always mean the fastest around a race track. Bayliss proved that last year.

You're completely missing the economic realities of running a race series or any entertainment venture for that matter.

The top manufacturers want to be in the premier classes. In fact, without them there are no race series at all. After all, racing is mostly a marketing and product development function.

How many motorcycle series do you think are economically sustainable? And why should displacement be the be-all, end-all?

So, you were lying when you said you've been doing 50 mile training rides for the race?

You've stated this several times, and then, out of no where you say it has been in the shop the whole time. Kind of weird...you think?
