Um, you know that no official details have been released yet? So what the dealer is telling you is that the HM will be feature the exact same equipment as the 07 MTS. In other words he-she is just guessing. As far as Ducati has said so far it will still have the 1000 DS motor, and no details have been revealed about suspension options or pricing.

They may as well be telling you what the 1098 will look like; impossible because no dealers have seen the final un-camouflaged prototype, but a number of them claim they have anyway...

This reminds me of a number of Suzuki dealers that still claim a replacement for the TL1000 is imminent - something they have been saying for years, even after the wooly SV1000 came out, and even though it's complete BS.

I saw the pricing sheet from Ducati and the model number of the bike on that sheet is identified as an 1100. I confirmed the information with another dealer before submitting this post.

I know this is the internets and everything, but I didn't just pull this out of my ass.

Just pop in to your local dealership with checkbook or platinum card in hand. They'll take your advance down payment, let you breathe easy, and promise you a release date down the road a ways.

Somebody there might even "PhotoShop" a pic and some specs for you, too.

Yeah, I'm bitter.

Dealer source informs me that the delivery date for Hypermotards has been pushed back a month because of demand for the 1098. Expect to see Hypermotards arriving in dealers in April 2008.
