Oh, come on now, PhDs are like any other group of people...some loudmouth idiots, some quiet geniuses, and mostly in between. I mean, this is the internet -- without intemperance and condescension (not that I'm above that sort of thing occasionally), it would just be cat pictures and recipe trading. Maybe other stuff too but I can't think of what right now.

"If Ford managment had enough collective brains to blow their own noses they'd bring the Ford Ka and the newest Focus over here instead of giving the small and fuel efficiant market away to Korea."

Exactly. Once again, the American companies have their pants down. Meanwhile, Toyota has the Scion xA and Yaris, Honda has the neat-o Fit, and Nissan's got a microcar coming soon (I think.)

The Ka roadster is cool.

LOL. There is no accounting for taste ... which is what we say when we look at a can of Coors Lite.

"With its sinuous curves and feline bearing the Panda Monster is based on the 4x4 version (the best selling off-road vehicle in Italy)."

I just re-read the article. Sinuous curves? Feline bearing? I do not think that those words mean what they think they mean.
