You are absolutely right...but you must also be new to this forum. trying to understand this crew will drive you nuts. If you are not mystified by some of the thought processes here, you may need counseling

How is 73hp more than 76hp?

You did not do all that well at school no?

'I'd rather have a Monster 400 than a sportster 883'

Mmmm. The Harley is meant to be driven at a moderate pace, so its lackluster hp ouput isnÂ’t a problem.

On the Ducati youÂ’d look like an a$$ when the average Honda Si drops you at the lights.

Humm, yeah. Repackaging.

But you are right, they got the design right from the word go and no need to fix something that is not wrong.

It is simply a tussle between haves and have-nots.

Either you have enough money to buy a Harley, or you need to ride some imported euro trash or worse, a ricer.

True to form, the poor are always envious of the wealthy, hence their derogatory comments. I feel sorry for those that have to ride ricers but they should have worked harder at school and gotten proper jobs ...

;-)

If I want a car I'll buy something with windows. I bet you look cool in that bandana.

Re: Ducati Announces New Monster 695

I bought the first Monster 600 Dark in NJ back in September 2000. After the usual Ducati mods... pipes, jets, open airbox, sargeant seat- was one of the best and least expensive bikes I ever owned. Rode it about a year before trading it towards a Confederate Hellcat. Bought 2 new 4valve Monsters since, but still have fond memories of that aircooled M600. I barely remember owning my Honda CBRs and VFR.
