If it gets Ducati a bit of media attention - great. If motorcyclists are seen in a more postive light - I'm thinking "adspeak" here - even better.



Someone made a great point, though indirectly: athletes at the pro level, regardless of the sport, are insanely talented. Not much of a stretch for me to believe that a sports great could learn to outride me - with 33 yrs experience - 31 of which are on big, relatively fast bikes - in fairly short order.



Does not follow from that, that that (heh, heh) sports star would be a better rider overall, nor more devoted, nor more knowlegable about history of marques, models, etc...
