If people like and want to buy these things it's no skin off of my @ss. Way too much worry these days about what someone else is riding. Maybe more time behind the handlebars and less at the keyboard is indicated.

Dude it's all automated now via Google and Yahoo alerts ... Don't sweat it It takes me 10 min to check and post max... I rode almost 170 miles today abou.. Auburn to Enumclaw to Morton WA and back (all twisty back roads for the most part)..sarnali can verify the miles.. Keep in mind 170 WA miles equal 170,000 Chicago/kbully miles, 17,000 Utah/kscrooge miles and 1,700 So Cal/kjester miles.
I rode my training ride about 50 miles of twisties on Saturday. Think I am going to make the 170 route I did today my new training ride.. I am ready for Longride.. |

I would like to hear again exactly why one mile through Auburn = 1000 miles through Chicago.
For example, how did this woman ever learn to ride? She's from Minnesota, which is basically Illinois but with more Swedes. I mean, one WA mile = eleventy hundred Minnesota miles. With all your PNW training, you would just walk away from her on the track. |

""There are lots of great roads in Washington and across the border to the north in British Columbia, Canada. We're not talking just nice roads like the Blue Ridge Parkway, we're talking scenic paved roads zooming over majestic mountain passes similar to the European Alps, twisting around volcanoes such as Mt St Helens and zipping through shadowy canyons as impressive as any in North America. There's no question there are great roads in the Northwest. The only question is which ones do you have time for? My personal suggestion is to get a copy of Destination Highways Washington." "Sissy' was originally a Cherokee word, meaning 'faster than me.'

I live in MN, and I've been to IL. I'm going to have to disagree that the roads are about the same. Have you ever been to northern MN?
I applaud the MMM link, you're the first other than myself that has referenced the site.
