McGrath said in an interview after the race that he's looking forward to Daytona. He says that he always rides better in the second half of the season. We'll see. Carmichael is looking solid right now. He didn't run off the track ONCE during round 8!

The days of McGrath winning is over. Carmichael is to good right now.

Hey bongtoker, too much use of "da herb" has clouded your feeble mind. Carmichael is kicking ass right now and is adding a great deal of excitement to the series but Jeremy is still Jeremy. Unless McGrath is injured and just hasn't told anyone he's going to keep pressuring RC.

It's funny how quickly people are to right off somebody. LOL Keep saying things like that and it will only fuel McGrath's fire. Surely, RC has risen to the occasion and given McGrath some real comp. More power to you RC!

To say such silly things like McGrath's winning days are over is obsurd. Surely to win the Championship again will be a fight. RC has proven this but don't kid yourself McGrath will continue to win races. Just not dominate as he has in years past. How well he accepts this reality will be a major factor in the McGrath's future.

i'm no fool - i'll admit Carmichael is beating the pants off everybody - McGrath included. But to say that Carmichael is the "new champion", is a "better rider" and few other things i've heard, it's a bit premature. I'll wait until the end of the season to see who's 2001 Supercross Champion

My mind is off in the clouds but thatÂ’s where I like to be floating with the wind. CanÂ’t wait to go to heaven because in heaven I can be a bike racer like Carmichael. I just think Carmichael did a lot of training off-season and caught McGrath with his thumb in his fart tank crack. McGrath is in big trouble and he doesnÂ’t know what to do because if he did he would have won.
