The mighty CR500 is almost impossible to destroy. Top ends last forever and ever...

And you can always hire someone to start it for you.

XR400R - I don't want to listen to any excuses. The CR pretty much sucks for trails and the 225 might get beat to death.

If you don't wanna listen to excuses, all ya gotta do is shut yer cakehole whilst getting smoked. If that's just too darned hard, you can always stuff your ponytail in your gaping maw.

I dunno, my '87 CR500 is astonishingly good on snotty single track and tight stuff. Has lots of grunt right off the bottom.

Not very good in the rocks though. Geared too high.

Does any manufacturer still make a 500cc two-stroke for sale in the US? If the Japanese and Europeans are out of that biz, big two-strokes might be an ideal product to be "Made in China".

They already make big two strokes that look like old MZs and Jawas.

The Mongolian herdsmen ride them insead of those pigmy ponys they use to be stuck with.
