Well, you know, he was probably asking for it. After all, he must have been a Hell's Angle out to rape and murder and whatnot...

(sorry for assuming the biker was a Harley rider...)

Cost of living? Oh yeah, I know about that. I'm in the SF Bay area now, one of the worst.

Still can't say I'm at all intersted in moving back to Indiana! Although when I do go back I get to listen while my brother shows me all the giant houses I could have bought for the cost of my place. Of course, they all have nice views of soybean fields...

Default Excellent Post what if the reversed happened. Would the biker get a break

I agree. I don't like loud pipes either but pulling and shooting a guy is a extreme behavior. How about it the roles were reversed. What if this old guy cuts off a biker. The biker gets follows the guy and waits till he pulls over. The old pulls over grabs the bikers shirt. The biker shoots the guy. Would the biker be given the same plea deal? I doubt it

Yea, I have a cousin who's made a lot of dough in computers living in SF. He just bought a 1000 square foot house for $549,000!!! Oh did I mention, no yard!

Chapman got what he deserved......... or maybe more than what he deserved... but he wasn't what I would call innocent.

First off he was especially rude to another rode user... and continued to be so when he was asked to stop.

Then he grabbed someone by the collar and threatened violence.

If you had a gun and some disrespectful a-hole grabbed you by the collar and threatened a painful beating wouldn't you shoot him?

Don't stand up for Chapman just because he was a motorcyclist and the other person wasn't.

So when is it okay?

Isn't okay to shoot someone if you feel that your life is in direct physical danger?

That's the whole point of carrying a gun, isn't it? To protect yourself when you feel that your physical well being is in jeopardy?

Loud pipes are an extension of those torrid souls who were woefully unsuccessful at potty-training.

They were belittled by their parents, friends, and classmates for still wearing diapers at age 6. At recess, the cruel kids would usually surround them and chant, "Sir Lancelot, Sir Lancelot, he really craps his pants alot."

These psychologically tortured misfits now spew their dung, not in a diaper, but out the rears of wide-open exhausts. They never grew up, just substituted one method of defacation for another.

And that's the truth... ;-}

Outta here...Charles (viper)
