First.
That would be a wet dream for me! Haven't seen anything yet, but a lower first gear and a taller top gear would give it even more versatility. It's totally different architecture that the big twins, so you can't just swap parts with the new 6 speeds. Keep your fingers crossed! ~Rob

The Buell website doesn't say anything...
My city x was kind of peaky, with a relative narrow powerband, I guess frm the oversquare config. A six speed would have been sweet & kept the bike in mid rage where it was happiest. One can only hope...

It would be longer and heavier.
People already complain that the Buell is heavy. What than? |

I took a Buell Ulysses for a test ride last week. Didn’t need no stinkin’ sixth gear, ‘cause we played "follow the leader" through a residential neighborhood in first and second gears. Couldn’t talk him into cutting loose on some nearby twisty back roads.
Man, those Harley dealers really know how to show off a bike! At least the chick behind the counter in the "boutique" section of the showroom was flaunting some cleavage, so the trip wasnÂ’t a total lossÂ… |

They also know how to do a demo program, they advertise "test the bike, get the bag" And in the whole state of Arizona no Buell dealer is willing to do the demo. What a crock!

I got the bag! It's nice, well put together, and looks cool, but danged if I can figure out how to use it.

You were supervised? Bummer, I was thrown the keys and told to be back in 45 or so when I demo'd a Uly last year. I managed to touch the front wheel down a time or two, but not much. Just cant get over that 7k limit, wrong wrong and wrong...

"...I was thrown the keys and told to be back in 45 or so..."
to quote michael palin in life of brian, "you lucky, lucky bästard." test drives are almost nonexistent here, because organized crime uses them as a way to quickly fill steal-orders. local mafia rings will fabricate a lot of fake licenses, and then distribute them to their little droogies to use when filling out paperwork before a test drive. no monkey no testy.
