Maybe we should follow someone's suggestion and dump some chlorine in the gene pool.

With Infection that intensive, I reccommend draining it then backfilling the hole.

It wasn't insult. I was trying to make the point that once out of design phase the production is just a small part of the cost. The pay off of design, at that point, should take a very short time to recover. Otherwise whats the point? Someone mentioned the cost of Japanese sportbikes designs. Asian manufacturers rotate sportbikes every two years. The R&D departments never sleep. It cost money. Profits of Asian sportbikes are minuscule (sp?) vs what HD and Buell do. Why? All of HD's tooling is paid for. They don't innovate. At least not like the Asain market. If HD did 1/4 of that R&D we'd see new bikes and motors every 4 to 5 yrs instead of every 7 to 9 yrs, as we do now. Let Buell be the R&D for HD. They have great ideas and a reliable workforce. Buell and his boys can turn "new" designs out in 4 to 5 years- including engine design. Buell CAN be that company if HD let them. We have great engineers in this country. Buell should figure out where the engineer tree is planted. Anyone listening? It's possible for Buell to make his company compete w/ the Asians, but more importantly they can win against the Italians if HD let Buell loose.

Other than that we're all good- right
