You mean that the non-Buell bikes don't change the jetting/ECM and install a high-performance air filter when they install a aftermarket exhaust? On the tube-framed Buells you see the air filter on the side of the engine so it's more noticable.

You're going to have to ride sportbikes or sport standards or build your own cafe` bike's for about 20 years before you can go to cruisers or sport touring bikes.

Doesn't anyone follow tradition anymore? You can't just ride a sportbike for a year and call it good, you have to earn your way in.

Well you should have, Though the earlier magnas and sabers were based on the VFR, your still not within the holy trinity of SV-VFR-Concours.

4cyl. Triumphs are the most reliable bikes on the planet., Buells can be second, I guess.

Default Gutsy

Hey I admire Buell engineers' goal for reliability. Now that's the can do spirit this country needs. The same thing got us to the moon, won the Cold War, conquered Afghanizstan and Iraq. I better stop there since Bin Laden and Sadam are still running around.

True, true, guess I didn't think about that.

What % of sport bikes out do you think change those items. Out of the 3 Japanese bikes we have here only one has an after market exhaust. The two Hondas are bone stock.

Shaking is distracting?

Dude that's character!

My S1 is a raging, vibrating beast at idle and as long as things clear up once I get rolling it's all part of the show.
