Well,

I have never seen or heard of a VFR with 150,000 miles on it. After a few valve adjustments, it is as expensive anyway.

Umm just because they sold shedloads of Taurus' doesn't make them them any less ugly. Some people don't care, some people get issued a fleet car and don't get a say in it (here's your new car "oh my god ! you're kidding right ?"

" nope but damn it was cheap !"

Ford in Australia suffered a serious sales slump when they released the Taurus and then the similarly styled Falcon (a size bigger than the Taurus and RWD) they went from equal sales numbers between GM and Ford in the category to GM owning the majority share (the rest were, you guessed it, fleet sales).

BMW hasn't released a good looking bike for the best part of a couple of decades, some have been uglier than others - the montauk cruiser thingy is WAY up there, say a dozen beers and a paper bag whereas the RT is a couple of beers and don't stare too long. Y'know ?

I think these photos are really sad. Try as I might, it simply is not love at first sight , or second , or tenth, even though I know they are probably excellent machines. I really want to want one, but I just don't.

Like the current 5 and 7 series Bimmers, these things are just too weird for me. I have two BMW cars (2002 and older) and love them. I hope they are very well built because I won't be replacing them with what I curently see in showrooms.

The new K bike is not bad, but certainly not inspiring enough to get me off my 'busa.

Default I know the true identity of Idiot Boy

He is none other than Kpaul. But being kinda new, you might not be aware of that.

He goes by many names around here.

I really like the 3 cylinder engine. Great sound, good torgue, nice compromise between a V-tiwn and a 4.

Students of the past understand the Europeans are fully capable of destroying their motorcycle industry without any help from the Japanese.

I figured that since it was under my post he was referring to me. I really like to exchange ideas and opinions, and I don't mind being taken to task when I get hyperbolic, but I don't like name-calling. I'm here to have fun, and maybe to give someone a laugh from time to time. I always like to think that anything I say comes with the caveat: This is my opinion; take if with a grain of salt...God knows, I do.
