Aren't you being just a little bit harsh, Srinath? Lets compare prices:
Ducati 996 $16,795 Aprilia RSV Mille $12,999 Ducati 996S $21,495 Aprilia RSV Mille R $17,299 Ducati ST2 $11,795 Ducati ST4 $13,295 Aprilia RST Futura $12,999 Ducati SS900 (falf-fairing) $10,595 Ducati SS900 (full-fairing) $11,295 Aprilia SL 1000 Falco $11,299 So the Aprilia is either much cheaper or extremely close in price. As for the lack of a winning record, I think Troy Corser would differ with you. It's true they haven't won the WSB title yet, but it's only their second year for god's sake. This is their first big bike. They'll probably win it next year. Mike |

I'm not to excited about the $500 increase on the Mille-R but my money has already been put down and it won't stop me from buying the hottest supertwin out. Spring can't come fast enough.

Is this the same james brown who likes to try to outrun the law in his pickup whenever he is tweaked out of his mind on pcp/crack.
Soul is subjective...i mean yeah james had it but the muscians who made up his band really had. Point being its all a matter of how you look and how long you listen. |

Geez, is it just me or are they leaving out part of the market place? I will most likely never purchase a bike that expensive. I've actually been interested in the RS50 but I just don't see the point in driving what sounds like a lawn mower with the advancements in technology over the last 100 years! Why are we still using the 2-stroke engine? You can say more power with less displacement but who cares! We have better, cleaner products out there. Can you imagine someone driving around in a 2-stroke 4 cylinder car?
But getting back to my orginal statement, why do they not have bikes in the $5k range? Something for someone with tighter purse strings, so to speak. |
