Hmm, did we miss anybody?
• 550cc-600cc 4-stroke liquid-cooled 4-valve four cylinders Kawayamazukda 600 supersports • 650cc-675cc 4-stroke liquid-cooled 4-valve three cylinders Triumph Daytona • 650cc-850cc 4-stroke liquid-cooled 4-valve twin cylinders Ducati 749, or maybe an SV 650? Triumph Bonneville? Destroked BMW F800S? Destroked KTM twin? • 990cc-1100cc 4-stroke air/oil-cooled 4-valve desmo twin cylinders Ducati SS1000 • 990cc-1200cc 4-stroke air/oil-cooled 4-valve pushrod twin cylinders BMW R1200S? Is there anything else that falls into this category? • 900cc-1350cc 4-stroke air/oil-cooled 2-valve pushrod twin cylinders Buell Hmm. I don't think I see classes for Royal Enfield, Ural, or Rokon. |

I'd love to see Suzuki punch out the old Savage (S40) single to about 900cc. About the size of a locomotive piston? For that reason and others, they could call it the 'Loco'. The raceable sport version could be called the 'Thumpomotive.' 2000cc's sounds about right to make it relevant to Formula Xtreme.
