First poster kid on the block! I always liked heat races best. It is suited for shorter races and makes things more exciting since you have several finishes. It would suck for long races.

Ok AMA next thing you should do is reduce the number of classes to two or three.

600cc Superbike (Same rules as currrently Formula Extreme)

1000cc Superbike

or you could add 600cc Supersport

Not bad, but I use the following.

600 supersport

600 superbike

1000 superbike

Reason being. Privateers have to start somewhere. Stock bikes are the best format for this. I'd delete the 1000 superstock class because of a waste of time and money. Yamaha will be in the Superbike class next year anyway.

I'd use Mid-Ohio's qualifing format for the 600 classes all year and run superbike as is.

Is that a new race track? Mid America? It sounds like it is located between Mid Ohio and Road America

The Dublin track has been around for 2 or 3 decades. Great place to see a bike race. Go and I promise you'll return for future events....

I would love to, every time I watch it on tv I get the itch, it is kind of far from Arizona where I live but if I ever get the chance I will go. Are you from that area?
