Default Where did the Buell go?

On qualifying day I saw that Sean Highbee(?) qualified 5th on a buell. I thought it was odd, but I checked a couple of web sites and saw the same thing.

I tuned in specially to see what, if anything it could do in this sort of race, and no Buell, no mention of it, nothing, other than they had another rider in 5th who was mistakenly labelled a buell rider. Anyone know what happened. Was it all a mistake?

I thought with a Buell and a few Duc's there might be some sort of exictement, but it was a boring boring race after the first pit stop.

Congrats to Chris Peris from Calgary. Nice to see a home town boy do this and compete with the big $$$. The commentators didn't give him much coverage. Still, 2 Canadians in the top 5 is pretty good.

Default Evolution

I just bought my kid some Sea Monkeys yesterday.

We'll see who evolves faster.

Sorry, didn't mean to insult the Neanderthals.

The 200 is always a good excuse for a group of us to get together, eat some great food, down some shots of Irish and Scottish spirits, have some great conversation and watch some great racing. Everything was going just fine and then the race started. PU!! The race had no soul. I'd rather watch a Boxer-cup race any day. Get the KTM twins out there and see what they can do. Anything but FX racing. No Buells, one Triumph, an odd Duck. Why not just call it the 600 class?

Congratulations to Factory Honda for spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to beat 37 privateers. Good job.

Jackasses. Their bike is such a POS they're afraid to race it against any real competition.

The Daytona 200 leaderboard listed Ben Walters #66 on a Triumph. I notice you have him on a Suzuki. Was that another SpeedTV mistake like the Buell? If Walters was on a Triumph anyone know what model? He started out on the grid in 56th position and finished 26th.

Default Actually......

they beat 57 privateers. There were 60 on the starting grid, but I got tired after editing 40 entries. So Honda's accomplishment is even better than you thought!

It was going to be two privateers, Shawn Higbee and Mike Cicotto.

Their absence was due to both crashing hard within the last few weeks and being too banged up to race... I read Higbee lost part of a finger.
