Default Cagiva History lesson for a MOron

Cagiva owned Ducati at the time. While the badge Mladin was running under was Cagiva, the bike was a Ducati.

In 1994, John Kocinski and Cagiva won the Australian Grand Prix on a Cagiva 500cc and placed 3rd position in the 500cc World Championship.

Just because they weren't a household name to you doesn't mean they weren't competetive.

Now they own companies like MV Agusta, Husqvarna and Cagiva.

Default Re: MotoGP History for dummies

Are you sure your name isn't Mat Mladin? Top five on a Honda, get real.

You really are underestimating the level of talent currently racing Moto GP with that top 5 statement.

Mat came into GP with a big mouth and an arrogant attitude, which turned every one off including his team. Not much has changed since those years, he is by far the most disliked racer in AMA.

The fact is if Nicky Hayden had just stayed in AMA for the rest of his career he would be mopping the floor with all of these guys, Mladin included. But Nicky would never do that, he was even willing to leave Honda to achieve his GP racing goal and signed with Yamaha until Honda decided they couldn't afford to lose him and excercised the option in his contract with HRC.

Mat doesn't have the guts to take the risk.

Why is it ok for Miguel DuHammel to do that, but not Mladin? Because he's a nice guy and his dad's name is Yvonne?

Some people have a serious bone for Mladin, if he wins he's a ****, if he loses, well that just shows what a punk he is.

He's the same as any other pro-athlete, making money at what he does best for as long as he can, why is that a problem for so many people?

Default Re: Eboz and the Duc

Rumor has it that Eric and Ben Bostrom will be at an Edge Performance trackday taking place at BIR at the end of June. This trackday takes place on the Monday after AMA weekend at BIR.

Should I ask the Bostrom brothers the following questions?

• Question for Ben. Jason Pridemore’s sponsor has gone under so he is free to seek a factory ride. Will Honda keep you around for another year if you do not produce any podium appearances?

• Question for Eric. If you fail to come to grips with the 999 lack of front end feel will Ducati release you so he can ride the Kawasaki next year?

By the way Attack Kawasaki's Josh Hayes lookÂ’s like he deserves Kawasaki full factory support for next year.
