Geez I go to Florida for 5 days and you guys end up trying to explain things to KPaul. I need to designate someone room monitor when I'm gone.

If there wasn't a weight penalty for 6 cylinders in MotoGP do you think we'd even have a Honda V-5 right now?

No, they would have an inline four like KPaul has. Probably 600cc and they would keep the rev limiter set at 9 grand because those things are rockets from 3 grand on up. When you leave please tell us, as we need somebody to keep our heads from beating against the KPaul wall.

Default Post race interview

Anyone see it? I caught just a bit of it last night when Kurtis "Cry-Baby" Roberts was saying something and Mat "You Want some of me" Mladin was getting up saying, "...I don't have to listen to this 'bleeeeeeep' and walked from the interview table leaving Aaron leaning back in his chair and Cry-Baby with his usual dumbfounded look.

I would love to know what C-B was saying. I have a pretty good idea:

C-B : (Whaaa) That 'zuk is just to fast and my Honda just can't compete! (Whaaa!!!) How can I, the greatest rider since my daddy, even be expected to get up to the starting line?!?

Mat: FU

I'll be in town for about 10 days and then it's off to Myrtle Beach for a couple of days. I'm sure there will be plenty of leftover bike week t-shirts when I arrive.

Ah... Post-qualifying not post-race. I wonder what the question to C-B was?

Thanks, abt.

Default Re: Why not a ZX9R

Is there some reason that a ZX9R is not being raced by E Boz? I know it is heavier than the 7R (which has to add weight for the AMA rules), but it would put out more power. This is probably a stupid question, but how bout an answer.

Thanks

Default Re: Infineon Superbike Results

My dealer sells Honda and Suzuki. The RC51 does not sell. They still have one left over from last year and even with a deep discount they can't move that dog. They're not bringing one in this year. The RC51 is not a hot seller. They sell to "elitist" types who are more interested in owning a rare bike even if it costs more that one which offers higher performance.

You figure a RC51 runs with a GSXR1000? Get real. The 750 does the RC51. By the way, according to Motorcyclist scales, the wet weight on an '00 RC51 was 489 lbs compared to 437 for the '02 GSXR1000. That's 52 pounds, not 30. No wonder the RC51 is such a slug.

I agree with half of that comment. Would anyone want some cheese with THEIR whine.
