What's up with Honda? I would think that Fontana would play right into the hands of a VTwin.

I would have thought so also. Particularly interesting that the Suzuki strength was in the tight infield -- the very place I would have predicted them to struggle. If the Suzukis also dominate at Sears Point (of whatever it is taht they call it now), it could shape up as a long, hard season for everyone else.

I am not a fan of Mladin as a person, but from what I saw of his riding this past weekend, I cannot find any fault with his on-track performance. By contrast, Ben still seems to be struggling to adapt the the Honda.

Still, can't attribute all of the Suzuki success to Mladin, as Yates and Spies were almost as fast (Spies chose not to run Superbike, but did practice with them and was 2nd fastest).

Regards

Bob
