I still don't think it looks better than an f4i....

Default better looking by far

Totally disagree. I've never given a rat's butt about the looks of the "F" models - for some reason, they all lacked any sort of personality to me. However, in spite of being a die-hard anti-Honda type (except for the RC51), I can't stop myself from gazing lustfully at the RR. I hate to say it, but it just looks so damn cool! Hope Suzuki can continue to lay the wheat to 'er though in American supersport action. C'mon Yates, don't fail me now.

Are you kiding?!? This thing looks incredible! I have seen one in person and it looks even better than in pictures! None of the other 600's even come close in the looks maybe not in the performance either. The new R6 looks subdued in comparison.

Default Honda does it again with innovation (original thinking) and style.

The number of innovations on this bike should put the rest the idea that Japanese bike makers are merely copiers and lack original thinking. I applaud Honda's aggressiveness in using new technology. While other bike makers are content to be conservative Honda pushes the envelope. I'll take mine in yellow please. Seattle Honda dealerships are having banner years these days this should continue the success.

It looks a little better than the F4i, but the tail section is just a bit much. Same with the VFR, and those nasty mufflers on the 919. The 916-998 looked simple useful and elegant. It just looks like the engineers are trying too hard, and yes I do include the 999 in the BUTT ugly department. Possibly form over function? Maybe, maybe not, but I think that beauty can be found with simplicity. In the end it is all about function over form.

Dream on. We have too much fun with this to ever quit.

"Maintenance-free battery.

Integrated ignition switch/fork lock for added security.

Convenient push-to-cancel turn signal switch. "

There are plenty of old bikes that have these "innovations". In fact, you'll have a hard time finding more than a handful of the things on this list that somebody didn't do before. Maybe the PR Flacks at American Honda should also list other "new " features like "two wheels", "4 cyclinder engine" or "telescopic fork replaces inferior girder design".

Yikes. It costs as almost as much as an Open Class Bike.

Let the Flame Wars begin.

I can't find any "innovations" on this bike. I'm not too smart KPaul, so please point them out to me.

Just wish it had an inverted fork. I think they fumble the ball on feature.
