Maybe one day Honda will be able to incorporate "Harley Envy Reduction" on their new GoldWings. Hopefully when they get it developed, they can retro-fit yours soon. Do you have that paint on yours that turns colors in the sun and turns green next to a Harley? LOL Oh wait, that green is your reflection! Just go buy the bike you really wanted, and stop crying about em already.

Default Beg your pardon but

The article did say new in front of several of the descriptions. I think what is inovative to me is that Honda deliver a world class bike like this for under 9000. Compare to Buell, Ducati, etc.

I don't trust anything written by someone named Cook.

C'mon Sean. I was just having a little fun at KPaul's expense.

I'm sure the Honda is a very nice bike. I'd especially like to know how they get boltless connecting rods on a forged crankshaft.

XB9 is innovative but how much of that innovation is necessary and how much is because they are using a tall ancient engine which forces the fuel in the frame and oil in the swingarm.

So when Honda innovates it's automatically good. but when Buell innovates it's automatically bad? And you have the audacity to accuse others of bigotry?

Since it was the only bike on the track, how does one know this? What was the comparison.

I'm sure it is "fast". What modern 600-4 isn't? But this article is nothing but a PR release. When do we get to see idependent testing? (That leaves out the Honda, LTD subsidiaries Cycle World and Motorcyclist.)

It is nutless, not boltless. They screw the bolt directly into the upper part of the rod. A good design, but nothing terribly new there.

The rear suspension on the other hand....
