Minime,

Now that Aria doesn't want to be associated with the Internet, please don't post any information about Arai sponsored events on Motorcycle.com. We don't want to upset Arai...

Thanks,

Philip

2. No Ducatis at all? Not so cool.

Ducatis historically have not fared well in endurance type races stemming from reliability/longevity issues generally stacked against them.

Now, that's not a pun - don't get me wrong, I love the Ducks, but they do have reliability issues when they participate in a race that lasts longer than 45 minutes (think no Suzuka 8-Hour entries).

There were some Ducks that have lasted an entire Daytona race, some even came close to winning, but the bottom line is they simply cannot touch the Big Four's ground when it comes to reliability or longevity.

Race was great, congrats to Nick, hope everyone gets better ... blah blah blah

Maybe it's just me but what is up with the Joe Rocket marketing people. 5 minutes into the new race season and I'm already sick to death of their new commercial. I understand the philosophy of negative name recognition is better than no name recognition but geez guys.

I appreciate the companies involvement, sponsorship and whatnot .. but yikes.

Then again .. maybe it's just me.

I don't think that the ducs can deal with the punishment they receive revved high on the banking and braking (engine) going into turn 1.

From what I've gathered to date, all the motorcycle racing will be on Speedvision only this year. Previously a portion of their coverage (mostly AMA, race 1 of WSC rounds, and the occasional GP) were shown on FoxSportsNet (which owns Speedvision/SpeedChannel).

So if you're like me and you don't have the Speed Channel and you like MC racing you'll be jonesing big time.

How do you race with contacts? When I keep my eyes open too long with them in, they tend to get all dry and irritating.
