If you’ve seen Deadpool, you’ll remember the chase and fight scene that took place on an urban expressway bridge. Naturally, the scene was made even better by having motorcycle-riding bad guys. This video shows that the coolest motorcycle in the fight wasn’t even seen. It was the camera platform. The production crew modified a Zero to carry a camera and all of its support technology in multiple positions on the motorcycle, giving fluid camera tracking in and out of both moving and stopped cars . The video is well worth a minute and forty seconds of your day.

Finally, somebody came up with one actual legitimate reason to own an electric motorcycle!

    And I do mean ONE.

    • Lynchenstein

I’d love to have an electric bike as a golf cart replacement.

        Look into the Golf Board.

Damn, you beat me to it.

      No, Zero.

      • Starmag

A ha, zero as a riff on the name. Nice.

Oh my! Wow am I impressed. The technical skill to carry an extra 80 lbs! And ride a whole distance of 30 feet! Pushing the envelope here aren’t they? So how much does your girlfriend weigh?

I know you’re joking, but I have to interject. Prior to my motojournalist career, I worked in the film industry, and the stunt/precision riders are nothing short of amazing. I saw one rider do multiple takes of purposely crashing his bike and sliding under a jackknifed big rig. Also, I used to know a stunt woman who was known for her motorcycle riding skill, and the stories she told were fascinating.

Blocking is fun… been there and still do it but on corporate accts now. In the “industry” since 76 and what they say they are doing is nothing special. I’m only impressed when I know a shooter did it by hand and not technical artifice. But that’s just me. Want to test a Zero anyway and not as a shooter.

As headlines go, this is marginally more interesting than “Cedar Falls HS Junior Named Iowa State Fair Corn Queen.”
