Paying more than $10k for a mid-70s Honda CB450 – even a new one in a crate – isn’t a good investment unless that particular bike was once owned by Steve McQueen.

According to Julien’s Auctions, a company specializing in Hollywood memorabilia, this weekend’s Hollywood Legends auction in Los Angeles stars nonother than McQueen’s 1972 Honda CB450. The fairly run-of-the-mill Honda is expected to sell for $50,000 to $70,000 (four $50k bids have already been submitted) – making it the world’s most expensive Honda CB450.

The bike was given to McQueen’s Solar Productions film company in August 1972 by Honda Motor Co. and was featured in Honda commercials of the day with McQueen aboard.

Another Hollywood special is a 50cc Johnny Pag ‘Pagsta’ chopper estimated at $8000-$10,000. The significance of this particular 2003 chopper is ownership by Easy Rider star, Dennis Hopper.

Third and finally is a 2015 Yamaha YZ450F used in the 2015 movie Point Break estimated at $6000-$8000.
