Win COTA MotoGP Tickets From KTM

Scoring its first premier-class points at Termas de Rio Hondo in Argentina two weeks ago, the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team is eager to share the excitement. The only North American round of the 2017 MotoGP season is fast approaching, and KTM wants as many fans as possible attending this weekend in Texas.

To help fill the stands with orange, KTM is giving away two KTM COTA MotoGP Fan Packs. Included in each Fan Pack is an all-weekend admission ticket, KTM grandstand seating at Turn 15, a Red Bull KTM backpack, Red Bull KTM shirt, Red Bull KTM hat, a can of Red Bull, and a Red Bull KTM lanyard. Retail value is $275.

Winning the Fan Pack is simple. We want three reasons why you deserve to win these tickets. Creativity counts, as does imagination. Send your responses to no later than 12:00 pm PST, Thursday, April 20. Winners will be chosen and notified later that same afternoon. Please include your name for acquiring the ticket at will-call, as well as your t-shirt size.

Good luck, and hope to see you in Texas!

Thank you, KTM, for investing in us MOrons.
Uh, your timing is a little late, isn’t it?

“Must be a resident of Austin, TX, or be leisurely and wealthy enough to drop everything and book last minute travel and accommodations for Austin, TX.”

Oh wait, I just noticed that this thing is sponsored by VerticalScope.
Never mind. Take off, you hosers!

Hey JohnB, are you close to Austin? I hope you win!

    • John B.

I’m 220 miles from COTA, have friends in Austin, and can “drop everything” and ride to Austin. The only glitch is I don’t see how I “deserve” to win. In fact, I’m not sure what “deserve” means in this context. Thoughts?

      • Old MOron

You can actually make it on short notice. There’s a deserving winner if I ever saw one.

        • Sayyed Bashir

That is one of the requirements for winning the fan pack: that you can afford to buy a airline ticket and drop everything to go to COTA. Otherwise what’s the point?

  • Old MOron

PS: I don’t suppose VerticalScope is sending Bruce Allen to COTA. It would be great to have his real-time analysis here.

Hey Brucey, can you drop everything and book last-minute travel and accommodations for Austin? I hope you win!

  • Buzz

I sent mine in. I already have my plane tickets booked. NHRA drags in Houston and MotoGP in Austin on the same weeeknd. Happy Earth Day!

    • Sayyed Bashir

“Beginning at 10:00 a.m. (EST) on Wednesday, April 19th, 2017”. It is 10 pm on Tuesday in CA right now. Aren’t you a little early?

      • Buzz

Rules , rules ,rules. I’ll just resend it at 10 am to comply.

I wonder why KTM started this offer so late in the game?

        • Old MOron

Rules, rules, rules? Take a look at item number nine.
It’s not KTM, it’s those hosers at VericalScope.

  • Buzz

Does anyone know the broadcast schedule and channel for this race? Normally it’s on BeIn sports but I can’t find the info so I can set up a recording.

    • Father Pobasturd

It’s on Bein sports, my DVR is already locked on to it.

  • Old MOron

    Where is Brucey’s COTA preview?

    • denchung

      On its way!

  • Buzz

Currently in the air on my way to Houston. Sunscreen in the backpack.
