Extensive testing and fine-tuning of every point of contact between rider and machine has resulted in a motorcycle that a good rider will find almost instinctual in operation. Perhaps this is why the CBR1000RRA was so dominant at the Isle of Man TT this year, sweeping the top three positions at a track notorious for difficult and unforgiving character. The feeling of Total Control is appreciated just as much on the street as it is on the racetrack, and no doubt part of the reason that Hondas CBRs enjoy such a strong reputation for everyday usability. Also contributing to that reputation is a level of comfort rarely found in a machine this aggressive, add race-spec electronic ABS and you begin to understand why this incredible machine is so popular with both racers and street riders. Upgrades to the cylinder head, exhaust and fuel injection system for 2014 increase power and torque, but engineers were careful to ensure the CBR1000RRAs intuitive nature remained intact.
