So, this launching a new website design is proving tougher than it might seem! But we’re listening to your concerns and are addressing them as quickly as we can. Keep in mind that this is MO 2.0; versions 2.1 and 2.2 are being devised so we can better serve our readers. Your comments are being noted.
 
Though it may be difficult to see so far, we’ve implemented an article schedule that will ensure a regular supply fresh content. In addition to a plethora of news posts all during the week, we plan to post new feature-type material every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Look for a new bike test each Wednesday of every week, kind of a hump-day treat to get you through the rest of your work week.
 
This plan has been difficult to see thus far, as we debuted four feature stories last week during launch. Some technical glitches with our fancy new content management system resulted in a few of them not getting the attention they deserved. You’ve undoubtedly seen my Ducati 1098S bike test that’s been floating at the top of MO’s homepage for a week.
 
But you may have missed an interesting piece about motorcycle advertising from the incomparable Fred Rau. Same for the event coverage of the Legend of the Motorcycle by ace contributor Bob Stokstad, and perhaps the entertaining Aerostich gear evaluation by the dearly departed Gabe Ets-Hokin.
 
As part of our efforts to allow you guys to better keep track of what is new on the site, we will be revising the home page by adding a “Latest Stories” component on with promo headers for the three most recent feature articles.
 
This is just a very small part of a laundry list of tweaks that we will be making over the coming months to bring you readers the best possible online experience we can. Please stay with us to see what will be coming next!
