Well, hello there, everyone! This first of my blog entries signals a new era in Motorcycle.com history. I’m the new sheriff in MO-town – well, officially, Editor-in-Chief. I’ll be leading faithful, longtime MO staffers Fonzie and Pete into this new generation of online motorcycle journalism.

Whether you call it MO Version 2, New MO, or MO:2, we’ll be bringing you all the expertise and irreverence Motorcycle.com has become famous for around the world. But it’ll now be presented in a much more stylish interface, with industry-leading navigation options so you can easily find exactly what you’re looking for.

And that’s only the beginning. For those who aren’t aware, MO was bought late last year by VerticalScope Inc, a leading internet media company. That means New MO has the funding necessary to provide all the cool things – with a major focus on video – Motorcycle.com has always wanted to deliver. And, perhaps best of all, anyone will be able to access our thousands of articles – no more subscription required! Current subscribers will have access to some premium content, as well as several other perks for being a founding member of the MO crew.

It’s an exciting time around here, and we’re working our collective ass off behind the scenes during this teething period. I sincerely hope you’ll continue coming along for the ride. It’s gonna be fun!
