Speed TV airing Superbike action
Beginning with five hours of live coverage at Daytona earlier this month, right up to the final round at Laguna Seca, Speed TV will broadcast more than 40 hours of Superbike coverage this year.
If you cant be at the track, Speed is the place to be on race weekends, says Keith Kizer, AMA racing senior director. Were pleased to know that well be seeing Superbike action on SPEED in 2008 and in years to come.
The agreement will carry over when AMA passes its racing properties to the Daytona Motorsports Group.
We look forward to a great season of Superbike racing under the final year of AMA stewardship and look forward to working with the Daytona Motorsports Group through their stewardship of American motorcycle racing next year and beyond, says Rick Miner, Speed TVs senior vice-president of production and network operations.
Each race weekend, will air four hours of coverage of the AMAs Superbike, Supersport, Formula Xtreme and Superstock championship series.
Three-time world champion Freddie Spencer and Ralph Sheheen will call the races with Greg White providing updates from the pits.
