New modular unit features integrated visor
By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Mar. 07, 2008

Motorcycle helmet manufacturer HJC has unveiled a new modular helmet that features an integrated visor for added ultraviolet protection.

The Sy-Max II features a Sunshield, a smoke-tinted visor that slides up into the helmets shell. HJC says the Sy-Max II provides 95% UV protection. It also features HJCs advanced channeling ventilation system and uses moisture-wicking anti-bacterial fabric on the interior.

Like the original Sy-Max, the new helmet also has a hinged chin bar that can open up along with the visor.

The Sy-Max II is available in sizes XS to XXL at a manufacturers suggested retail price of US$279.99 for solid colors and $289.99 for a metallic finish.
