The International Motorcycling Federation and the TTXGP will hold three electric motorcycle racing events together.

The two rival electric motorcycle racing organizers appear to have healed their well publicized rift, announcing the final three rounds of the FIM’s 2011 e-Power championship will be held jointly with the TTXGP’s European and North American championships. According to a joint statement, the two sides decided to work together “in a spirit of collaboration and the common goal of promoting electric clean emission racing.”

With final three FIM e-Power rounds being combined with the TTXGP, the question now becomes whether the two series will officially merge.

The first joint FIM e-Power and TTXGP event will be on July 23-24 at Laguna Seca in Monterey, Calif., as part of the U.S. Grand Prix weekend. Donington Park in the U.K. will host the two series on Aug. 20-21 alongside the FIM’s Endurance World Championship and Sidecar World Championship. France’s Le Mans circuit will host the third FIM and TTXGP round Sept. 24-25 in support of the 24 Hours of Le Mans Endurance World Championship race. The Laguna Seca round will count towards the TTXGP’s North American championship while the Donington Park and Le aMans races will be part of the TTXGP’s European series.

Plans are also underway for the FIM and the TTXGP to hold a season-ending unifying event in October.
