Sporty looking for a cruiser, the 2012 V Star 950 is also available in a striking Candy Red color scheme.
Rear brake apparatus on the V Star 950 is seemingly put together with Erector Set quality. The poorly devised system pushes the floorboard outward, severely reducing cornering clearance.

The Jeff Palhegyi-designed Custom Midnight covers add a subtle touch of flair to the V Star.
The HardStreet saddlebags are stylish but extremely limited in their carrying capacity. The Comfort Cruise seat was a little stiff for our tastes, but we certainly liked the quick-release windscreen.
Riders taller than six feet might consider the ergonomics of the rightly sized mid-displacement cruiser a bit cramped. Roderick is 5-feet-11.
